The only score that matters is ROI over a real sample. Hit rate is the seductive, misleading number — you can cash often and still lose. Watch Edge (Hit Rate minus the Break-even % you needed): positive across 150–300 graded bets means your horses are beating their price; negative means dutching is just losing slower.

What is dutching?

Dutching is splitting a single bankroll across two or more horses in the same race so that any of your picks winning returns the same profit. It widens your hit rate at the cost of a higher break-even percentage — the combined implied probability of every horse you back.

This calculator does two things: it sizes each stake for equal profit when you press Add Race, and it tracks every graded result locally so you can watch your real edge — your hit rate minus your average break-even — across a meaningful sample. Nothing leaves your browser.
