- Harness racing handicapping
- The craft of predicting standardbred race outcomes by reading recent figures, pace, post position, driver, trainer and class.
- TrackMaster PDF parser
- Bullring's client-side reader that extracts horses, Speed Ratings, morning lines and class from a TrackMaster past-performance PDF.
- Tuttle Definitive (TD) projections
- A forward-looking Speed Rating estimate that weights recent form, cycle direction and class to predict tonight's figure.
- Competitive Odds Weight — each horse's TD score converted into a percentage share of the field, the basis for the fair price.
- Fair odds calculator
- Converts COW% into a fair decimal price. If the tote pays more than fair, you have an overlay.
- Live overlay vs tote
- Real-time comparison of your fair price to the actual board. Overlays are the entire point of pari-mutuel betting.
- Speed rating cycles
- The pattern in a horse's last several Speed Ratings — peaking, regressing, bouncing or steady. Cycle reading is the core skill.
- Standardbred figures
- Numerical performance ratings (Speed Ratings, USTA marks) used to compare harness horses across races and tracks.
- Pace handicapping
- Analyzing how pacers (lateral gait) match up: who needs the lead, who closes, and how the early fractions will shape the race.
- Trot handicapping
- Same analysis applied to trotters — with extra weight on gait soundness and breaking risk.
- Pari-mutuel value betting
- Betting only when the tote price exceeds the true probability. The only mathematically winning approach to racing.
- Past performance analysis
- Reading a horse's last 5–10 starts to project today's effort — figures, trips, equipment changes and trainer intent.
- Driver and trainer angles
- Repeatable patterns: a leading driver picking up a longshot, a trainer's win rate off a 30-day layoff, equipment changes that historically wake horses up.
- Class drop spots
- A horse moving down in class (e.g. open to conditioned) where its prior figures dominate the new field — classic value angle.
- Identifying horses showing rising Mean L3, low volatility and a class-appropriate spot — the live ones the public misses.
- Free harness racing picks
- Bullring is free. It doesn't hand you picks; it ranks the field by fair odds so you can make sharper ones yourself.

- A short, tight oval (half-mile or less) where the rail and the lead matter — also the name of this app, since handicapping bullrings is its specialty.
